Between the two authors, they hold three VST titles. Ed and JJ, an English Springer Spaniel (first Spaniel, first ESS, first to pass with just a TD), received the #6 VST title on June 22, 1997. On October 5, 1997, Christy and Ariel, a German Shepherd Dog (youngest dog), received the #8 VST title. Ed and Merlin, a Clumber Spaniel (second Spaniel), passed on October 5, 1997 as #9. This is a must read book for all tracking enthusiasts interested in expanding their dog's ability to work on concrete, asphalt, mulch, dirt, in or around buildings, and along roads in urban areas.
