Click here to find out what the most common mistakes are that people make with images on a web page, causing web pages to take *way* too long to load.
Let's practice downloading a graphics file. If you have a PC, put your mouse "pointer" on Eeyore and click on your right mouse button (not the left one that you normally use). Go down to "Save Image As...", click on that with your left mouse button, and another larger box will appear. At the top of this box it says "Save As". The file name should appear towards the bottom of this box and tell you what directory it is going to save your graphic in. If that directory is o.k. to save in, then go ahead and click on "Save". If not, pick another directory to save to at the top of the box.
If you have a Mac; click on the graphic or wallpaper and hold until a menu appears, then click on "Save Image as", navigate to the directory you want, and click on "Save".
You have to be very careful about downloading just any graphics files off of any web site. Many of them are protected by copyrights which means you can't use them, and it will usually say so at the bottom of a page or somewhere else on the page. If you have any doubts or just as a matter or courtesy, email the owner of the web site and ask their permission to use their graphics.
