INFORMATION ON OUR IMAGES

We require you to either cut and paste our Licensing Agreement in an email message to us after you have read it in conjunction with your order which means you will honor our Licensing Agreement or send us an email note stating that you will honor our Licensing Agreement.

Most of our images are very low color .gif files. The web images are done in a gray transparentized background where appropriate (i.e., the graphics themselves, Horizontal Rules, and Cool Links Horizontal Rules). The navigational buttons and wallpaper (backgrounds), etc. are non-transparent backgrounds.

Our images load very quickly on a web page. You'll never sit and wait for our images to load. Click here to find out what the most common mistakes are that people make with images on a web page, causing web pages to take *way* too long to load.

INFORMATION ON HOW TO USE THE IMAGES

1. How do I look at the images once I get my Cd-rom?

You will need graphics software (a program) to be able to see and/or work with any images. I highly recommend Paint Shop Pro, PSP. This program pulls up an entire directory in thumbnails so that you can easily view all of the images in any directory all at once. I have "enclosed" the thumbnail browser files, pspbrwse.jbf, for each and every group of files. I have no idea if you can read these in other graphics programs, but I know you can read them in PSP.

Paint Shop Pro is shareware, and you can download the program and use it for 30 days for free! This program does many things that the "big" graphics programs like Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, etc. can do, and it costs a lot less. They also have a wonderful book on PSP for sale which you will find extremely helpful.

2. What type font do you use on your buttons?

It's a True Type font called "Brisk" in size "16" "Regular" on most of the buttons. We now provide blank buttons for you to word as you like in the font of your choice.

INFORMATION ON THE IMAGES THEMSELVES - WEB PAGE GRAPHICS
1. I have done a large full body graphic (approximately 100-125 pixels on its longest side; approximately 1") and a small full body "icon" graphic (approximately 60 pixels on its longest side; approximately 5/8") for every breed. Most of these are side body profiles. Some breeds will include another design, and these will be identified as additional designs on the dog group chart that contains what graphics are available for each breed.

I have done several of the colors/markings in each breed (needless to say, if a breed only comes in one or two colors/markings, those are the only ones included in our collection). I have tried to include not only the most common colors/markings but many of the rarer colors/markings as well. There were some breeds where I didn't include all the colors/markings (i.e., I think I stopped at 16 for the English Cocker Spaniel).

These dog graphics are show quality graphics, not pet quality. The dogs are groomed for the show ring and are, hopefully, good representations of the breed!
2. Design Sets--The design sets consist of navigational buttons ("Home", "Email", "Next", "Back", "Sign Guestbook", and "View Guestbook") and Cool Links Horizontal Rules (the dog is on both sides of the words "Cool Links") in the six colors below. We have also included Horizontal Rules in two widths (these are lines consisting of just the dog graphic). The "icon" sized graphic is used for all of the design set components.

3. Wallpaper--Most breeds have at least 20 wallpapers to choose from (approximately 4 differently colored wallpapers in each of the four colors pictured below). The "icon" sized graphic is used for the wallpaper. There are additional wallpaper designs included for some breeds.

Because the web pages images are so small, they will lend themselves equally well to desktop publishing.

INFORMATION ON THE IMAGES THEMSELVES - DESKTOP PUBLISHING GRAPHICS
1. Color Images--All of the breed graphics in the larger and "icon" size are included in all colors/markings. The larger graphic measures approximately 1" on its longest side. The smaller "icon" graphic measures approximately 5/8" on its longest side. This will include at least one full body graphic per available breed. The Horizontal Rules (see description under Web Page Graphics) will also lend themselves well to desktop publishing and are included. These color images are also .gif files with a white background which is not transparent.

I don't believe that our images will blow up or reduce well because of their small size and because of the type of graphics they are.
2. Black/White/Gray Images--Images suitable for black and white publishing have also been included whenever possible.

Our images do not blow up or reduce well because of their small size and because of the type of graphics they are.
